Course Objectives:
After completing this course you will be able to:
  1. Perform static and dynamic movement assessment of daily and sport specific movement describing the anatomical and biomechanical influence and what key variables to focus on when performing a movement assessment.
  2. Be able to differentiate and perform a human movement assessment vs. a sport specific assessment.
  3. Identify three reasons why screening and referral to other allied health professionals is important.
  4. Identify common postural dysfunctions, how posture dysfunctions occur, and be able to teach effective training strategies to address dysfunction.
  5. Understand the importance of flexibility, muscular fitness, and cardiovascular endurance training to safely and effectively train clients.
